FREE 30 Minute Mindful Movement & Meditation

Awaken your body and mind with this 30-minute practice focused on mindful movement and conscious breathing. Through intentional yoga poses, we’ll cultivate presence and awareness— inviting you to be in the present moment, rather than getting caught up in the past or future. From this grounded state, you’ll be better able to care for yourself and your community.

No prior yoga experience is needed. Flexibility, balance, and strength are benefits of the practice— not prerequisites.

This class is offered freely, with donations warmly welcomed. All are welcome, regardless of ability to contribute.

Evening Yin + Ext. Savasana

Experience deep stretch and awareness while down-regulating your nervous system with this meditative practice. A perfect compliment to the dynamic, active yang styles of flow yoga, Yin works on the other half, the deeper tissues of the body. It is a type of meditative practice in which grounded yoga poses are held for 2-5 minutes.

These long holds allow your muscle and fascia tissues to naturally respond to the deep stretch with the aid of yoga props. The stillness allows you to relax and listen to the story your body is telling you about where tension is being held. The deep breathing helps your body to release stored trauma that can manifest as tension and stress in the body. Practice will end with an extended savasana.

Flow Yoga

This mixed-level resilience and strength building flow Yoga class, we will begin with guided breathwork to increase your connection with your practice and end with a relaxing savasana. We’ll open with gentle movement and after the body is warmed, more time is spent in select yoga poses to deepen the experience and encourage strength, flexibility, and balance, transitioning smoothly from one posture to the next while synchronizing breath with motion. Modifications and variations will be provided to accommodate individual needs.
